The Holy Name Society was originally formed by Pope Gregory X in 1274. Our St. Peter's Holy Name Society has been in existence for 100 years, having been organized in 1912. Its primary objectives are to promote the honor and glory of God and the spiritual life of its members. The St. Peter's Parish Holy Name Society works to support and strengthen the parish in many ways. Among its annual activities are a Communion Breakfast, Picnic, Golf Tournament, Turkey Shoot, Sports Night, Religious Education Christmas Party and the Bazaar. New members and new ideas are always welcome. Any Catholic man who is at least 18 years old is eligible to join. Any men interested in joining are invited to attend our meetings which are held at 6 pm on the second Sunday of each month from September through June.
