In the 1930s, St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun, received private revelations from Jesus about spreading the message of His mercy to the whole world. Shortly after her canonization in 2000 the Vatican decreed the Second Sunday of Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday.
St. Louis will host a Divine Mercy Celebration on Sunday, April 24th. After the 11:30 AM Mass at St. Louis, there will be a guided pisanki workshop to participate in the beautiful Polish tradition of Easter egg decorating.
At 3pm the celebration of Divine Mercy will begin. It will include Adoration, confessions, Scripture readings, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Please join us!
